Been trolling around the search area but can't find much on this subject.

Took my 350se to a garage to set co levels and now it is so sluggish an escort kept up with me. The pops and bangs are awesome but definately too much. A Shotgun is quiter. A mate txt me when i got home and said---Is it running a bit rich.

Timing is set to 5deg which I think maybe should be 8-10

So my question is, what co levels should it be, does the scale 1.5-3.5 sound right?

Garage man has gone away for a week so can't take ot back so I am going to buy an anyliser and fiddle myself {not fiddle with myself}

Yes 8 degrees would sound more kosher.

I've seen my CO as low as 0.7 and as high as 4.5: I'm never happy with the way it runs anyway so as long as it passes an MOT, then what the hell

Tune (as radio hams say) for maximum smoke and you won't be far off.

1.01 at recent MOT, still perky enough!
