No sooner had I just submitted the above to this thread when my painter phones me and says........

"sorry Rob but the car will not be ready until Tuesday"

Oh well more sleepless nights,still better to have him take his time than rush it I suppose!

It does now! Just been out in it having changed the plugs, fiddled with the air flow meter and remade a couple of (mystery) earths. Sun out, foot down, the Wye valley never sounded so good! Took some photos so I'll update the profile asap.

Lucky bugger Ben, i'm jealous!

I've just finished rebuilding my car and before I even got a chance to drive it I dislocated my knee on Monday So I'm out of action for a month at least.

I look forward to the pics, so I can at least dream
