I think I heard somewhere there is coverage of the Tuscan Challenge on Men & Motors, anyone have any ideas if this is true / when it is airing?

I asked that on this thread:

www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=257038&f=38&h=0&p=2

Last current post indicates that it is Motors TV on April 28th and possibly Five a week later. Keeping my eyes peeled for updates on this.

I rang AMGTV (Cheshire) to ask them and the race at Oulton is definitely to be screeened on Friday 28 April, Programe 9 - no time given but will be repeated every day thereafter for a week I am told. Very helpful people and the link is on John Reid's website.

Hope that helps.

Onwards and upwards to Silverstone - hope you are all going to be there!

As far as I knew it was Men and Motors, though?

Although Motors TV sounds more likely, but I've only got Freeview

Dave.

Matters not now so it seems, Men and Motors no longer being shown on Freeview as of today; will be replaced by ITV Play which is a bit annoying.

Yes, coverage is definitely on Motors TV on the 28th April with multiple repeats in the following week. That programme will cover both Oulton and Silverstone.

Channel 5 coverage will be in the early hours of the following Wednesday morning and lasts 25 minutes (as opposed to an hour on Motors). Keep an eye on the listings, but be mindful that the programme might go out at a different time anyway!

Dave, please don't do that as you will be infringing copyright... Also, there is no need as the programmes will also be made available for online viewing after they have been aired.

It will be on a new site being set up by the production company - don't have the details yet, but I am sure you will be made aware as and when. It won't be until after the TV coverage has gone out in a couple of weeks.

Coverage on Motors TV, this Friday from 9pm (I think) with multiple repeats in the following week. Check for Race and Rally UK in the listings. Approximately two-thirds of the hour long show covers the Tuscan Challenge (the first part covering the Ford XRs), with the races from both Oulton and Silverstone covered.

Five will show briefer highlights in a 25 minute slot next Wednesday morning (approx 4am).

Just noticed you claim to be the comentator! Are you a media student? You made more mistakes than James Allen does while live on ITV! You either need to improve your act or get replaced!!

Ian,

What measures are you going to take to improve your performance on Motors TV last night? Quite a few people here were very disappointed!

Congratulations to Ian Sowman and the team for making a good programme out of very little material. With only 14 cars on the grid it needed some creative editing and imo that's what it got. I look forward the the next programme.

Typical of Cliff to hog the limelight at the first corner and by going so slowly he ensured plenty of coverage by getting lapped so often. (Bullet point for prospective sponsors Cliff).

And those blokes at the front. Weren't they going a bit quick. I'll have to turn the boost up a bit and blue smoke down. That was a rubbish plan anyway.

Is it safe to assume that Reg Jones won't be appearing on track at any stage this year. Does anybody know his real name as this just has to be an alias to hide his true identity. Someone is trying to promote the series and all he can do is bellyache. Come on Reg, leave your stamp collection at home, get your Mum to make sure you've got a clean hanky and underwear, come to Castle Combe and give the series 5K so we can go to Spa. That way you may just contribute something to the series and earn the right to criticise them that do as opposed to them that don't. Until then, shut it.
