Er, it's a bit weird, a sort of rebodied C4, I think it's got love it or hate it looks, (suspect people may tend to one opinion more than the other).

Oh, and comments section contains many opinions on how badly our C4's handle/go etc. from lots of more clever people than us.

Cliff - you mentioned bendy chassis as one of the C4 weaknesses, have you ever tried a C4 convertible? I was quite surprised to find my Mum's feels like a solid car in comparison to the Coupe, seems much more rigid. The ZR1 doesn't have an X-brace under it does it? (I know Gixers hasn't)?

Then again no doubt ZR1 has some different chassis strengthening added here and there, so may already be better in this respect!

Ime not sure if the chassis is much different from the stock C4,i was once told that the front chassis rails protrude too far out at the front and lead to a lot of flex that gets worse when the roof is removed, and i have heard of the X brace helping stiffen things up but ive also heard they are heavy and restrict cleareance.

Ime more than happy with my C4's handling and have been in a car driven by Daniel Jeal when he blew away an evo going through a roundabout,we had just overtaken a car when this new evo cut in on the inside and tried to out turn us,Daniel being the driver he is twitched the wheel and not only out turned the evo but left it for dead on acceleration out of the bend, this was with a stock or slightly modded 350 but a few chassis bolt ons.should of seen the other drivers face and thats what i love about all this "Yanks dont handle" stigma...talking on forums(where people that knock yanks throw all sorts of Bollocks they hear at you) is one thing but actually driving these cars on the road is another,i had the same on saturday approaching a slip road to a motorway ,an Alfa Romeo was breaking his neck to get up the slip road before me and even forced his way in ,as he hit the sharp left bend he was trying to go round it as fast as possible and his car wandered out away from the white line,my Z hugged the line and could have done a faster more neater turn,in the end i just saw an opening and went...bye bye Alfa

By the way i touched Brett and Kerensas snake on saturday.
