I have a friend who has a small business that manufactures retail equipment. He has developed a new product and wants to put the new product into the market place on a profit share basis with the retail locations where the equipment si sited.
In the past 10 years he has sited over 70 similar machines on a similar basis and has paid for them simply out of cashflow, but now to accelerate the roll out of his new design he needs to get the machines funded by means other than cashflow.
Typical cost a machine is £2,000 and payback through a profit share arrangement is less than 18 months. His target is to get 600 new machines out within the next 5 years.
Anyone know of a leasing company that would purchase the machines from, and then lease them back to, his company.
