Lingenfelter C6 Twin Turbo - 725 bhp

Lingenfelter are celebrating 25 years in the tuning business with a twin-turbo C6. Ultimate performance in the quarter mile is limited by grip off the line but its terminal speed of 136 mph is quicker than every other car ever tested, including Enzo, Carrera GT and McLaren F1. The conversion is extensive and expensive, adding $85k over the cost of base Z51 starting point so around $125,000. Sounds a real monster! I'd have thought the Z06 chassis and wider body would have made a better starting point although that would add yet more cost.

I forgot to mention the torque figure of 730 ft lb. Transmission unchanged but cluch and diff upgraded.

I'm waiting for Callaways Z06 twin turbo conversion...their stock C6 twin turbo conversion will make 750bhp, so the Z06 conversion should rival the Sledgehammer (850bhp+).
Although this is unoffical I have heard it from the horses mouth. :-)

while I waited in the Tuscan for my Dad to come back from the chippy, I had a littlr rev-off with a VW Camper. A giggle, especially when they asked me to turn my engine off so they could hear theirs!
