Can anyone recommend a garage in the Herts area for servicing my Chim. I have used Barnet TVR for other odd jobs but haven't been that impressed.

Not sure where abouts in Herts you are but Offords are a short drive up the A1.

Thanks for the response. I'm around the St.Albans area. Do Offords have a website? If not do you have a tel number for them?

Not that far to Topcats at Aylsbury from St Albans or Euphoria at High Wycombe.

I'm in Letchworth and use Techniques for servicing in Stotfold - they advertise in Sprint - very good and much better than any TVR dealership I've used.

I use an indy in Potters Bar, Kimberley Motors who I was told used to do some work for the TVR Centre back in the day. He also used to work on one of the racing tuscan teams, so he knows his onions, particularly with the RV8 cars. Throughly good bloke, and he's just round the corner from the station, which is handy if you work in London. Drop me a line if you want the number.

Just trawlled back through my posts and it was me who put you on to this lot. I did only say it was a rumour that he used to do some work for the TVR Centre........ I guess he is quiet handy then if you are recomeneding them..... very easy to get to and from being near the station (never used them despite hearing of them).

I used them before when I had a V8S, the sorted out my rusty fuel tank with a refurbed one.

Good friendly service, would use them again.

BTW, Offord collect and deliver. And you get a delightful SAAB with 237,000 miles on as a loaner (well, I did last time. Not that I actually drove it.)
