Not that I expect to need one, but it's always nice to have.

Any available in UK? I remember when I had my Firebird, back in the day, you could get Chilton workshop manuals, but I've Googled it and can't find anything for C5's. Not much thrown up by a PH search either, although there was some mention of shipping 'em in from the States.
Wouldn't even mind a CD-ROM if anyone's got one that they'd copy.

Sorry can't be of specific help, but normally GM do full on workshop manuals for a specific model year (Mr Stratta VERY kindly donated his 86 manual to me) - they cover everything. Sadly the quality of the Haynes efforts has declined (in my opinion) with too many items being listed as 'Take it to the dealer' (sounds like they don't do the C5 one anyway)

GM manuals aren't cheap, but well worth the investment.

Ade - next time you see C5BLK from Poole, flag him down as he has a set and I'm sure he will let you have a look if you have a problem.

Thanks Rich, I'll keep an eye out for him. I assume he doesn't post on here.

I don't have any problems, I just try to buy a manual for every car I have. It's good bedtime reading, and a good way of getting to know the car.

I have a set of repair manuals for the 02 coupe/vert but I'm not sure if they fully cover the Z06 too.

I have 2 CDs for C5 Vettes. First is PDF files of "Chevrolet Service Information - 2001 Corvette" (applies to most C5s), second is a Parts Manual for 1997-2003 Corvette, includes owners manual, body panel details plus brochures/ads etc. You are welcome to a "backup" copy (both on a single DVD) if you want one... Please email me (editor@corvetteclub.org.uk)

Cheers... Pete

YUP C5BLK does post on here. The C5 manual is a hefty 3 volume set.You can get it from the USA catalogs and it costs around 160USD + postage. Or alternatively £5 an hour rental which is is heckuva lot cheaper than a rolling road
