Is there any truth in the rumour that Robin Hood have bought/are buying Westfield?
I'm no expert (other that I owned a Westfield).... but isn't Westfield a miles bigger and more successful company than Robin hood ? - - sounds like Kwik Save wanting to buy Microsoft !

I think RH sell more kits than Westfield but then Westfield charge more.

Not heard anything, either, and would have thought it unlikely since Westfield is a family firm. Chris Smith's son and daughter work for the company, so I'd have thought that he would be looking to pass it on to them when he retires.
Just to clear this gossip up.Chris Smith addressed us all at Stoneleigh today and stated that he and his wife are the owners of Westfield Cars and have no intention of ever selling the buisness.This was after the speculation of the Robin Hood senario.All westie owners at the show looked very relieved,me included.
