Following on from the what do you do for a living thread where are you now ?

I recently posted whilst in Thailand (hence the 4.00am postings) and it was quite strange being in an alien enviroment but having something so familiar. I have also posted from the Caribbean sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

So where are you now ?

Right now I'm in NW London. But 5 weeks ago I was in Mauritius. And since I'm amongst friends, I feel safe enough to admit that the occasional visit to the hotel business centre to check on the cricket score also included the occasional check on here too. My name's gmk666 and I have a problem.

Right now in wet and cold Surrey. Week before last in Dublin, week before that Las Vegas and the first week in March desperately trying to get up the mountain to Tignes ski resort in big snowstorms. Eventually managed to get there in time to find a bar showing the Chelsea and Arsenal games. Everywhere I go on business I take a laptop and usually find time to scan this forum. All that time the Porsche was nicely tucked up at home in the garage but has been out to play in the traffic a lot since I got back.

Henley. I know what you mean though Henry. I travel quite a bit and always log on from wherever I am. Half to do with my internet addiction and half because I get pistonheads withdrawal if I'm away for too long !!!

I've been posting (albeit rarely) from Hong Kong for the last 5 months.

It's amazing, I see more Fezzas, Porsches and Lambos here than anywhere in the UK. The thing is though, in the UK at least, you can take them out for a good thrashing every now and then (provided your careful obviously), but here the roads and traffic are so bad, it's like driving around in Central London all the time.

Not sure I understand the need or use of a F430, a 911tt or a Gallardo out here, but everyone and his wife has one!

Not sure if that's a simley face, a thumbs down or just a bit sad (look how much money I can waste on something that will never get out of 2nd gear)

I'm probably just jealous!
