Looking good Jeff. What have you done to the cooling system to cope with the extra heat that little lot's going to generate?

Jeff, what are you going to do about air filters??? those turbos (right hand side one mainly) are very colse to the bulkhead!

got to say though it keeps looking better and better!

any chance of a look at the engine cover? have you done some ducting mods to help duct cold air onto the cooler??

Chris.

Looking good Jeff! Can't wait to see it on the dyno! And even better, in person!!!!

I believe he was planning to duct intake air from the sidepods to the turbos to draw in cooler air. We'll have to keep our eyes on this to see the rest of the cold side plumbing.

We'll be testing several system's ability to cope. I've already broke stub shafts with the old LS engine. Mufflers: the T61 turbos, as well as 16" straight through stainless packed 4" od ones, on the end there. The air filter placement will be one of 3 options to be determined after I receive my 4" metal donuts. Not so close to bulkhead, but the coolant overflow tank may need relocating. Cover not done yet.
Thanks,
Jeff s

Jeff,

Are you keeping the bore and stroke the same size as your old supercharged engine? Or is this a new engine from the ground up?

What are you using?

That package looks pretty small, you think it could fit into a Can Am?

i think he is going for a 402 cubic incher! on the LS2 this means running a 4.000inch stroker crank! very common thing in the LSX world now!

packaging does look amazing and i love the manifolds! are they cast or tubular logs jeff???

also any plans to self this set up as a crate???

thanks Chris.

Jeff, this looks amazing. When do you think it will be finished? I'd love to see it in person.

Craig,

Jeff is planning to have it ready for Hot Rod Power Tour!!

I am coming over to do it with him, if the GTR is not ready we'll be in the Caddie.
