He's still posting elsewhere on PH, but seems to be giving the photography forum a wide berth at the moment.

If I had to guess I'd say possibly due to one too many threads that are either talking about kit, or complaining about threads that talk about kit...

John is still alive and well - saw him on Sunday for expertise, lens hire & a beer...

He's having a break from the photo forum at the moment to pursue other projects at the moment. The latest one I undertsand being one called simply "work"!
