After a mere 15 years the bushes at the front of the suspension that stop the tie rods from moving have rotted away.

I know I can get a set from RT racing but are there any other alternatives? This is the forward-racing tie rod setup.

Thanks chaps. Also tvrcarparts do them at a shade over a tenner a bush.

I'm taking the opportunity to change the drop links while I'm at it to SH ones. All those years of sending me Xmas cards has finally paid off!

That would be this:

www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/fulcrumCat/img.php?id=143

looks good value - if the metal washers are still intact.

Their catalogue is here: www.fulcrumsuspensions.com.au/fulcrumCat/

Yeah but - Ford are probably no good now - anything from the Cortina era is no longer stocked.
