me too! mines a "P" plate and i cant hear a bloomin thing and if the sun ever shines i cant see the dash light, so some sort of warning would be dandy though i've just re read this and it sounds as if its my faculties going and not the cars

yep ive come to the conclusion that the earlier cars dont actually have them! mines not got one, ive stripped the dash down to find it and there just isnt anything there! It would be easy to make a buzzer as the points are on the circuit board to solder someting in.

I agree toady, the points are on the circuit board stating buzzer! but with the wind noise in mine i think i may hav to put a clifford alarm siren to it, to hear it haha

Mine's A 96 & there's no buzzer connected to the "buzzer" terminals.

I could swear the original owner said he had it removed, but I'm leaning towards that being borrocks.

ha ha! i take it you have the old door seals then? mines had the later ones fitted and i dont seem to get as much wind noise over 80 like some ive been in! I may have to get the maplins cat out when i fit my stainless dash!

Liam, I don't suppose the previous owner left the details of who fitted the seals as he ?

No one seems to want to do mine

Russel- I am guessing that it was done by TVR Gatwick when they did the full body respray.

Russell old beanio, have you asked Mike? He and Kevin did the seals on mine a couple of years ago. Well worth it, but a pig of a messy job for them!

Its very easy to get to the dash circuit board, you just remove the 2 wing nuts holding the leather 'pod' onto the rest of the dash, the nuts are located almost directly under the corners of the pod.
There should be a small reisistor pot marked buzzer volume to turn, unless you find that there's no buzzer at all....

Just found the TVR part number, ME0027, described as "Buzzer - 12 volt PCB mount" guess that must be it, will see if nemasis has any in stock.

Doesn't a blown bulb make them go at double speed ?
