So folks, what do you reckon the weather is going to be like?

My forecast, and sorry to be so glum, but I just have this feeling...

Rain, wind, cold, bloody freezing at night too.

But its nearly may.
I reckon fine in the day but cold at night. Bring ya thermals.... You wont notice the cold unless you wake up at 3am with a numb bum.

Yeah, would need to buy two, and put the second one on upside down, putting your legs in the sleeves and your bits in the hoody.

Snet like all race circuits always seems to have its own micro-climate so don't bother with the weather forcasts before hand!

Snet is the coldest circuit I've ever been to (Knockhill is wetter but never colder!), the 2CV 24 hour for the last two years has been blooming freezing and the year before last very wet (and that was the weekend AFTER Le Mans in June). Take warm clothes (those fleeces look good!) for the day and for the night.

If you don't take enough clothes, the Sunday market did a very tasteful line in cheap leggings last time I looked!!!

Well it's only 2 weeks off and it's freezing now!! Never been to snet before but I'm assuming it will be rather open and windy from the landscape in that direction. Good job we'll have the PH lurve to keep us warm

I imagine that it is going to be windier and colder than can possibly be imagined.

I had thought that too. Layers AND thermals are the way forward then You can always peel layers off as and when required

There are IMO a few simple rules of forecasting weather:-

1. Take no notice of what the weather mans says.

2. Expect the absolute worst you can, it can only be better.

3. It’s England, It’s a bank holiday, your outside for 24 hours come on get real its going to be very very cold, very wet, sunny, dark and windy and that’s only before 9.30 on Saturday.

4. You need to pack every piece of clothing you can think off because it WILL rain and be sunny, it may snow or sleet and sometimes all of these al the same time.

Don’t expect any type of weather expect all types… and have fun

So its thermals, t-shirt, shirt then fleece & waterproof jacket for the the top half and thermals(or tights if I can't find them), trousers and waterproofs for the bottom half. If I'm cold after that I will have to get in the sleeping bags (Yes I'm taking two if its going to be that cold :Brrrr)

Can you tell that I have a feeling that its going to be cold & wet ?
