Oh Eck wiped Mrs M's car out on some ice last night -= BLOODY TRACTION CONTROL

Took the dog for a run over the downs last night, freezing my bits off and get a call on the mobile - Alarm has gone off at Business Partners house (he's on Holiday) - DOUBLE KNOCK, Police Informed(probably wont turn out or even find the place)

Leg it to the car and sling the dog in - right I'm about a ten min legal speed limits drive away Sports Mode on foot down I can do it in 4-5mins GLF
Boot it towards the By-Pass, approach the roundabout at, brake late, back on the gas and start to turn into a slide sideways Opposite lock and plenty of gas = Nothing bloody traction control cuts the throttle touch the brakes and the back end goes round - AAARGH! near side rear knocks over the cones at the roadworks and minor clump which I assume is the wheel clipping the kerb
wheels grip and I'm off again (check the damage later)

Get to where I'm going - False bloody alarm

Check the car - OH Hell it wasnt the wheel that hit the kerb it was the corner of the bumper and it hit something hard the bumper has got a big hole puched in it and is cracked and crazed

Mrs m is none to impressed

Agreed re the mixed blessing of traction control.. the ESP on the TT used to regularly leave me in the shit half way through a manoeuvre and in the path of traffic..

Bugger about the Missus' car

What's that look for.
Ford Ka's are great, I love mine. You can happily chuck them around and they stick to the road like glue

Yes I know that, but it is about £4k more than the standard. I would like a Sport Ka, but I will have to wait a while.
