Is anyone else heading over to Spa for the next LMS race?

We have a group of 6, hoping that this year is drier than last!

Happy Snapper & I will be out there from Friday afternoon, coming back Monday morning. I can't wait!! Didn't make it out there for LMES last year so was saved from that bit of rain!

It was a little damp, didnt take my rubber pants off for all of the race, was forced to drink hot red wine to keep warm....

I'm going in a group of 4, god knows how you're going to get 6 people in a 2 seater Rich.

We're going out 14:10 Friday, coming back 13:25 Monday

Praying for less horizontal rain than last year on the Saturday and less fog than on the Sunday!

Going out on the Friday 'convoy' with Piglet and Happy Snapper.

This weekend at Silverstone was just a precursor - Cars, Camera and Weather!

Spa is quite different I shoot

Start from just under the "swiss cottage" www.gtphotosport.com/spa24_2004/dsc_6481.html

or top end of Kemal www.gtphotosport.com/spa1000km/DSC_4297.html

Use the bus stop alot many different shots my favorite is right on the wall the cars rub there sometimes so you dont stick the lens out too far! www.gtphotosport.com/spa24_2004/dsc_6604.html

At the 24 during the drivers parade out side thebar that Piglet abd I lunch in! www.gtphotosport.com/2005/kpk_9051.html

Le Source with the 12mm lens makes a nice shot www.gtphotosport.com/2005/kpk_8667.html

Most of those are inaccessible to punters though, need a media pass However, there are a few places where you can get to the outside of the track at the same location for some good shots.

Will post some up later today

1 second from disaster...

It was good to meet you, Keith, and the other CA guys at the bar on saturday. Maybe we should arrange such meetings at all rounds of the LMS.

By then "get the hell out of here or this is going to hurt" was on order.
