24 inch monitors

My father is looking for a 24 inch monitor, seen the ones buy Dell and Acer..

Which is best, and any others to look at?

Use the Dell unit with a DVI connectio and 3yr warranty. We have 3 of them here and they're fantastic.

As far as I'm aware the Dell widescreens all use the same screen as the apple cinema displays, which are widely regarded as being the dogs danglies.

Scan (www.scan.co.uk) do good prices on Dell monitors (cheaper than Dell strangely)

Have a look on Ebay there are some 24" ones on there for £550 all in

Only the 20 inch, the Dell 24 inch is slightly bigger than an Apple 23 inch.
