My ninja is due today for its mot i've taken the race can off and put the standard one one but there is a little leak near the drain hole will it fail.
All standard cans have a drain hole and a small amount of exhaust gases do come out of here but nobody tends to notice unless it is a cold engine / condensation etc - Shouldn't fail.
the hole is to let condesation out , mine had it (j1) you wont have any probs , the thunderace goes in in 2 weeks for its mot , i have bought a road legal can for it so no worries , the zx 6 went through last time on the race can and that thing sounded evil , but its down to the tester wether it passes or not.
It passed, i had a look at the pipe and as i was having a brain fade the spigot had got stuck on the race can doh never mind a lesson learn't and all that
