Morning all - I don’t normally venture into the regions, especially the South Coast but all will soon become clear......

My sister is coming to the end of her final year at Bournemouth Arts Institute where she has been studying Costume design for stage and screen. For her final project she is nearing the end of completing 2 costumes from the 1920’s – a men’s golfing outfit and a ladies suit.

She mentioned to me the other day that when she finishes she would really like to take some pictures for her portfolio (and to submit for marking) of her 2 models wearing the outfits in a situation rather than just in a studio, and that using a vintage car would be great. No driving around or anything, just stationary with the models standing in front.

So – and here comes the big ask – are there any PHers in the Bournemouth area who would agree to having their P&J pictured? I know she would really appreciate it and any costs incurred could be covered. Photos would be taken by a photography student from the same college and I’m sure they wouldn’t mind producing extra copies for the owner to keep too.

I know it’s a bit of a long shot as I doubt there are many people around who own 1920’s and 1930’s cars so does anyone know of any museums or collections in the area who she could get in contact with?

If you’d prefer, drop me a PM.

Thanks
Doug

Beaulieu has to be the obvious starting place?

Yep, you're spot on. That would definitely be the most obvious place to start seeing as its about 10 minutes down the road.

Thanks rico
