It's also in the wrong section. Have noticed he's registered as a business though, from experience you have to jump through a few more hoops to do this.

Doesn't have the usual scam alerts in the advert, but it must be one.

The chasis number hasn't been added so you can't do an HPI check straight from ebay.

sorry, but no way in the world would i bid on this. zero feedback, very short window to view the car in before end of auction.

i think someones gonna get shafted personally. but then i would hope the winner does not pay until he's seen and personally cheked the car and walks if anything smells fishy.

I asked him where he was and he gave me the address of the Porsche Dealership in Stratford (This car is also for sale on the Porsche approved website for £73k).

I asked for his name and number at the dealership and surprise surprise, didnt get a reply.

Notice how payment HAS to be made within 24hrs but goods are not "Posted" until 2 days after cleared payment.

There must be some stupid people out there to fall for some of these scams.

What would stop you from bidding on it then driving out if you won with the cash when you collect it. Inspect at the time, do the HPI check and walk away if it doesn't check out on the grounds that it doesn't match description?

Or am I being naive?

I'm tempted to do just that!

This is not a kosher sale. |Give it a week or 2 and you will see the user deregister or get a bad feedback. Dont fall 4 it.

By the way, the ad i posted above is back on ebay again. Who would turn down an 03 996TT Cab for £56k???
