.... is an understatement!!!

As I mentioned in another thread, I put a deposit down on this car nearly 2 weeks ago

Well I finally have a collection date of next Friday!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!

I have been lurking here for a while, asking the occasional question and trying to work out which TVR to get. They offered me a very good deal on this car so I couldn't resist

I've come from a long line of VX220s (2 NAs and 2 Turbos) and have seen plenty of them crashed so am quite used to needing to give something respect, especially in the wet. Am still expecting the TVR to be something else though! Will be using it everyday to begin with - 17 mile trip to work along medium/fast A and B roads so it should get well warmed through - to run it in as quickly as possible (dealer says it has a brand new engine) and then it will be a strict weekend blaster only. Icing on the cake is that I've just had a quote for £770 fully comp from A Plan, which is less than I was paying for my Stage 2 VX Turbo!

I'm not going to be able to sleep for the next week Lucky I'm off to the Ring this weekend to take my mind off it!

TT

Congratulations. You'll never, ever tire of driving it or looking at it. The T350 is a masterpiece and looks and goes like nothing else on the road. Looks like you bought it from Gatwick tvr too, another good choice, they'll look after you very well.

That's gorgeous. Well done. I've made a conscious decision to visit Fernhurt TVR tomorrow or Saturday to talk about owning one of these puppies. I'm scared I'll end up buying one, although they don't have any T350s in at the moment...

They're putting anthracites on it as well mmmmmmmmm

Enjy - try Gatwick as well. IMO Fernhurst cars can be well overpriced and when I was in there late last year they told me that their warranty only covers claims up to a certain amount (£1500? not sure). I have added the £500 bolt on to mine from Gatwick at that will cover everything (including a full rebuild). As an example, I paid only a little bit more for a my car with 2500 miles on the clock than Fernhurst had an 03 plate T350 with 17k on the clock up for! Not trying to slag them off at all, just my experience. Worth looking at Dream Machines as well - would probably have bought from there had the price been right - Ben and the other saleswoman I dealt with (whose name escapes me) really know their stuff

Well done mate - absolutely lovely car (though I would say that )
Gatwick are a great bunch too.

Can't believe only 2500 miles for a "54" car...

Slightly off topic, but what's with the T350 register? No entries since March '05 and the info I submitted has never appeared.
