Afternoon chaps, I'm putting a post up for Bal(Phantastic) who is out buying oil for his Griff - He is looking at Mobil 1 but wonders which viscosity should he go with. I've looked in my Wedge "bible" which does not state which "type" of Mobil 1. THanks for your comments. Jamie
My Griff, is a 4.0, and in the book it states SAE5W50.

If he wants to buy Mobil1 then tell him to get the 15/50 motorsport version.The 0/40 version is widely regarded by most experts as being too thin for the RV8
