Please help alarm problems

Alarm not picking up key fob. Have replaced fob with new one and it still isn't working. Any ideas on whats wrong.

Don't you have to re-sync the fob with the alarm?

There's something in the hand book about it - holding it pressed for a number of seconds or summat?

I heard that too. However, when I tried it the other day, pressing for around 5 seconds, it just set my alarm off, so I had to press it several times to shut it up.

To unlock, I've found that pressing it for a couple of seconds works well, rather than press + quickly release.

I thought you had to arm and disarm it several times to synchronise new fobs?

I'v spoken to Carl at car and bike instalations and he is going to sort out the problem. (highly recomended)
