After 10 years of ownership my little girl has just had to suffer her first winter outside suffering the elements. Due to many different things I've hardly had time to bat an eyelid at her for the last 18months. She got dragged to the MOT station in October and it cost less than £100 but since then she's just sat and is looking very sorry for herself. The veneer has gone (again), the seats and steering wheel have gone an odd shade of green and the roof although looking in tip top shape on the outside is showing it's age on the inside. Yet..........I popped out to see her this morning, checked the oil and water were ok, connected up the battery and after a couple of turns to push some fuel through she started up as if I'd only used her yesterday.

Damn I love my wedge. Pity her owner is such a t0ssp0t. I'm really not worthy.

Can't take her out for a thrashing for another fortnight. Have to find an insurance company that won't seize my credit card when I tell them I've got 9pts before I can TAX her. I did run the risk of the 100m dash to the petrol station in her yesterday to fill her up (with the roof off of course). Damn it sounded good ::
