Now decided that the pinto currently sat in the chassis is going to stay, but the second choke on the carb(32/36 dgav) is seized and the shaft appears corroded, so a replacement carb is required, anyone in the club got one for sale please???

thanks for that, since that problem arose a friend of mine who banger races has given me a solex from a dorchester 6( granada limo) it fits the pinto manifold, both chokes open at the same time and it is brand new(and free) with petrol approaching a quid a litre i should be able to get through loads now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, great thing about banger men is they don't see any value in parts that are great, like the new radiator sat in the front of this limo which will soon be in the front of my jago

v6 carb as youve noticed isnt progressive will fit on the pinto manifold but will drink fuel expect 10osh mpg unless driven very gently wont appreciably gain any performance either for street use a progressive webber really is the way to go ....freee your existing carb
