Speedo won't go above 90mph

Ah yes, the answer to every problem encountered on Rover V8 engined cars.

I'd suggest having a good independent check your speedo and sender. It could be something as simple as the needle sticking.

do they use the same sender unit as the rover sd1 as its the same gearbox on the early ones.

Still not fixed after all this time, think it's one for the next service
I actually find it quite focusing to not know exactly what speed your doing when 'pressing on'

Nope... TVR special.

This sounds like a screwed speedo and/or sensor.
