a chap on Rennteam posted the following details of the base Cayman:

"it will be on sale 19 July 2006 in UK.

£36k, 2.7l, 245bhp, spec similar to the 2.7 Boxster"

sounds interesting but still a little over-priced in my opinion, especially when a Z4 coupe 3.0 is around £31k with 265bhp

Does sound a bit much. Will be interested to see if it comes in at that price.
