If the woodruff key has sheared you would lose the oil and water pump drive as well.(Hopefully you switch the engine off straight away when you lose PAS?)
Timing cover will have to be removed to check this,
I'm not sure if you can do this in situ.
Can you see the flex drive at the end of the Oil/Water pump
Does it have oil pressure and does the Oil light go out.

Hi, from what I've read there is a common jackshaft that runs all three pumps, I would guess that each has their own woodruff key. The PAS pump is the last one, and apparently on pre-99 cars, the woodruff key was a little small, so was prone to shearing.
The car oil and water pumps are still working fine, I can see the drive to the PAS pump trying to move, so I'm guessing that the key has sheared on the end of the jackshaft.
So stage one will be to see if this can be replaced, if not, then I'll install electric PAS.
I would like to know how the PAS pump is attached to the engine (allen bolts) and if there are any tricks to removing it in situ. There looks to be a reasonable amount of space around it, but you never know, TVR may have joined the three pumps together with very long bolts going through all of them.
If anyone knows, or can look in their newly purchased AJP manual, I'd be very grateful!
