Underground Car Park

Is any of you guys doing underground car parks--- had a nice one in Brighton this weekend- saw a Porker coming out of Churchills Car park and thought it would be ok to go in (didn´t fancy the seafront-seaguls, drunken kids...)- but going upwards at what I thought a normal speed I was heavily grounded on the edge of the first ramp- went a bit slower on next ramp and had to stop (you know how the handbrakes are...) so starting off was like a little drag race for the poor clutch (and a tad smelly as well), next one still going slower so I stalled it---- I put it down to me being a novice but honestly is there a trick- or are you not doing car parks???... would it be worth if every memeber posts nice and easy going car parks he knows on the cerby map????

I usually avoid multi-stories after beaching the Cerb in our local one (all four wheels in the air). Fortunately they've pulled it down now -- hope the next one will be more Cerb-friendly.

How did you manage all 4 wheels? Speed bumb i presume

No, the ramps were sharp edged and I got the middle caught at the end of an up-ramp.

MOH has taken ours into our local multi-storey, but I haven't the turns are a bit tight, and I'm not sure I want to be doing a two point turn up hill to get it round to the next level.

There is a multi-storey in Colchester (behind Williams & Griffin department store) that has a most excellent surface. You can get the tyres to squeal like Starsky & Hutch with very little effort

mine grounds on everything anyway ... but kicked the mrs and Kids out at the Galleria just so I could get out again! .. sounded nice on the flat bits though!!

I avoid them at all costs - not only for those steep inclines but also some of those very sharp bends

They seem to vary quite a lot. The one I use in Leeds (Wellington Place) is fine - wide slopes and not too steep. Some of the others nearby would be impossible though.

I'd try a new venue in a "normal" car first to check.

Just had a weekend away in good old Bournemouth and was offered the hotels underground car park...superb...there was one or two other guests of the car park who raised their 'voices' when the Cerb passed, expressing her views!!! If you know what I mean
