rattle above gearbox

Hope someone can advise i have an annoying rattle that i can hear in the car on tickover that sounds as if it is coming from the gearbox area also if i try to shift into 5th too quickly i end up crunching the gears could the two be related maybe a selector arm?

The rattle could possibly be the starter motor heat shield, mine used to rattle alot untill i fixed it.

Car sounds like she's had it. Time to sell and buy a german sportsbubble.



Or it could be what the mad one above said, something loose down below
