Hi Bundy,

If your girlfriend makes you buy the pajero/colarado/prado/cruiser or anything like it than Jagsy will let us know.

Mind you it is hard to go beach fishing in a Monaro.

Where there's a will....
When I lived in Oz I was an avid surf fisherman; got the Coupe and "damn" no fold down panel in the back seat like my Clubby had!! Still managed to carefully get 2 x 12' surf rods & gear in the cabin though (broken down into their 6' sections of course!). Tip of the rod nudging the back window & handle resting just behind the gearstick.

Didn't you watch top gear when they had it out on the beach... It can be done... but generally hire cars are the best at that for some reason.

Ah a 1991 VN SS... I had a 89 one.
Umm, I sold mine for $150 cause it was going to cost to much to fix the automatic transmission than what the car was worth, and was never going to see the money again, hence the VX. Had a slight problem with oil leaks, but hey, you keep filling it up, and the problem continues, but doesn't mean alot. Had rust develop under the rubber seals around the top of the boot. Engine was ok, although had to replace the welsh plugs twice, which was a bit of an expensive excercise.

The VP SS one up from the VN had the better rear suspension, IRS, but not the good front. The VR SS had the better front suspension on it.
Mind you, I guess a VN SS would make a good cheap toy when the time comes along for the clubbie!
