there will be food on site so a few snax and a few beers so you dont spend all your money in the beer tent.

as you will be aware

I'm taking my new £19.97 ASDA tent air bed and sleeping bag. I'll call room service for anything else I need.

OK, as a seasoned camper this is an early trip even for me!!

Personally I think you'll require significantly more bedding as it will be chilly at night.

I don't like airbeds anyway and prefer a roll mat or self inflating mat. When it's cold the air in the airbed will chill and you'll get very cold on top of it. A solution to this is to make sure you've got a good layer of insulation/bedding between you and the mattress so sleep on a fleecy blanket or a duvet. I don't know anything about ready beds but my gut feel is that the sleeping bag element is probably not up to camping this time of year but you'll need to have a look at what you've got.

I'll be using a layer of insulating material under my mattress (bubble wrap is effective!), a fleece blanket wrapped around the mat (so two layers), a 3 season sleeping bag, a fleece inner to the bag and may well throw the duvet in the car as well if there is space. For me that would be an absolute minimum!

Even if we hit lucky and it's hot and sunny in the daytime the nightime temperature will drop significantly.

I do feel the cold so I always go to the other extreme - so you might not need as much as me but I think you'll have a pretty uncomfortable trip with what you've got!

Enjoy!

Piglet............the ready bed is just like a three layer sleeping bag type thing and the inflatable bit is put into the botton layer and there is like a duvet type layer to act as a sheet, quite a good idea i thought will try it out and see if i still feel the same after P.F

Don't you find the bubble wrap pops when you move around?

Don't underestimate how cold it gets at night. We went to watch the 2CVs in June 2002. The weather was GLORIOUS during the day, but it was absolutely freezing at night. I ended up sleeping on a blow up mattress with a duvet underneath me, inside a sleeping bag, jogging bottoms, thick socks, a vest, two sweatshirts and my coat because I was so cold.
