Do any of you Lambo drivers find that you cannot accommodate your Lamborghini in your small garages so you park 'em outaide your house?

No ...with the original garage doors in place the car would not physically fit in (a standard single garage)...so changed the door (larger) and door frame (thinner) and now get 1.5cm clearance either side ...no more problems ...well, until someone tried to break in, and has now damaged the the door (big dent and bend in the middle)!!!!! Once in the garage it's a doddle to get out of the car, coz of the scissor doors.

i once owned a countach that was bought from a guy in hampstead, the fool always left it outside. it did just fit in my then single garage with one mirror in, bear in mind width is not a problem with scissor doors once you have drven in.

What she said! Plus, remote electric door opener (so no handle or lock on the exterior) and alarmed to the teeth!

...the 1.5cm clearance is at the door itself, the inside of the garage is marginally wider, and coz the doors go up rather than out, it's no problem getting out of it ...especially as I've got such a small physique!!!

Tony, that has to count as the most single minded use of a garage I've ever seen. I particularly like the red kiddies sledge thing hanging from the back of roof. Nice concession to family life. Possibly too generous.

Tariq (lam80) has an orange 6.0VT Diablo that he manages to fit into a single garage but luckily it's the widest single door avail and required planning permission to get fitted (semi-detatched house). Even so, with a car so big it's a tight fit and even lengthways you're tight for space which means you can't walk around the car to admire it on a rain day! There's a few inches either side of the non-retractable wing mirrors when getting in...
