Headrests

I'm sure I've seen a thread on here regarding headrests for M12 can anybody help? Cheers Tim.

Tim,

The factory will make a set of head rests - Leather or cloth. When I had the 3R I went for the leather. Looked very nice.

That's leather or Alcantara - never cam in cloth AFAIR.

I find these a must especially for the passenger as they can't tell when you're going to boot it and can get a stiff neck what with their head bobbing back and forth with the gearchanges - it's funny to observe out of the corner of your left (right one elsewhere!) eye! Also easily removed for track-days.

I find they push my head too far forward and occassionally come off when driving (but I am very long in the back).

I kinda enjoy watching the passenger's head disappearing from my peripheral view

Nice - the leather ones have 'Noble' embossed on them but not as obvious as the alcantara ones. Looks good though!

He just made me a special set with softer foam than normal. (being in the furniture trade made me critical of the hardness of the std ones)

I am really happy with them. I actually think not having them is dangerous as you effectivly have no head restraint and could get a serious neck injury if shunted from behind. Its much safer to have them in. IMO

I bought some when I had a Noble and thought they were terribly uncomfortable. They were so fat they pushed my head forward and I wouldn't have fancied my necks chances in a crash.

I think some people get them made thinner in light of this.

Head rests? dont you mean "Head restraints"?...........
