Just noticed that Leon Cammier's 1m16.9 pole time for the Supersports class would have put him 19th out of 33 on the Superbike grid, just ahead of the Hyrdax Honda of Gary Mason !

no w that IS funny - Imagine a MotoGP Bike on there. Great track I love it. Balls to the wall round the back though!

There was some great racing in BSB at Thruxton, but the commentary was utterly dreadful and took a lot away from the excitement. 3 bikes are abreast, drifting round Goodwood and Church, one of which has caught up over 2 seconds in one lap, and the two commentators are discussing some irrelevant background to a rider not even in the picture. I thought I liked that gravelly voice, but the content was diaboloically uninspriring. Great shame.
