How should my leather fit?
Discussion
Went to Hein Gericke in Norwich and bought some Arlen Ness leathers. The trousers don't feel real tight, should they? They're kind of okay from the front but i can get my hand down the back without too much force? Now I know they're never going to fit like made to measure but what should I expect? The leather around my legs isn't tight but they look like they fit?
The tags are still on, am I within my rights to take them back? The salesman was useless by the way...

I tried on a one piece suit at J & S Accessories a few months back.
Once you get it over your shoulders, it seemed to snap into place but I couldn't get the bloody thing off again.
It seemed to take an eternity and a lot of help from the wife, to get it off again - so I've deceided against a one piece set.

Shot, you've made a wise choice with Crowtree, even their basic leathers are excellent you'll get better 'everything' from the stitching, seams, armour, zips & hide thickness.
It's worth mentioning that if your body is able to 'twist' within your leathers (epecially where there is armour) it can actually do a lot more damage than just the impact, I know someone whose elbow was broken by his hard style body armour! don't buy baggy kit! -
it looks sh*t too!

I went to Hein Gericke in P'Boro to get my kit - luckily the salesman was very helpful and didn't try to sell me the most expensive stuff. They made the time to get me kitted out - I chose textiles this time around - but definitely agree, leathers should be fairly tight cos when you do start to wear them regularly, they do stretch!! (albeit a teeny bit)
Cheers all...
Riding from Norfolk to Louth (Crowtree Leathers) in Lincoln tomorrow - 185 mile round trip so should be a good opportunity to add some miles (running in) plus get used to the bike. Hope the weather holds out, keeps raining everytime I think about getting the bike out...
