Car cover/parking permit?

Wardens cannot legally "interfere" with a car to obtain the registration details that are required to write a ticket.

For that reason, if you work in central london, you will often see cars parked illegally with the number plate obscured by tape and a bit of paper. If you wander down Goodge Street towards TCR you'll always find a car about half way down parked on the pavement with this "scam". It's been there for years and never got a ticket.

So, I wouldn't worry about it if it was me, but I'd make your own choice up.

Here I am just scrolling through and I know the exact car you mean!!!

I often wondered why it had the number plate hidden....now I know! It is parked infront of some kind of gate and if it's the same one I think there is a car lift behind that gate as I have seen it open.
