Hi guys, i will have a Chimaera tommorow, so the 400 will be up for grabs. At present it has the tuned 4.6 in it however this is the option... Try and sell with the monster motor in it for £6500, or i can put the 95 4.0 Chim motor in and try to get £5000 for it, slap the 4.6 in the Chim, till i get time to put the Chevy motor in that ( next winter ). Drop me a line if anyone is interested. May take a Diesel Rep mobile in P/x

i would leave the 4.6 in the wedge 6.5k is not bad for a 400, plus it is sorted. also i think changing it to fit a chim is a lot of work for a short time.

£6500? - bargin of the century!

If anyones interested in this wedge, I can vouch for just how good it is.
Well worth a look if your after a fully sorted, fast wedge

£6500....??? how much are my internal organs worth on the black market? Would heart, liver and both kidneys do it?

Edited to say: p.s. The Chimp is a puffs car.

Not wanting to spoil your fun but... hold on to your wegde for a bit, you may not find the Chim as exciting.

A chim just didnt do it for me, I had to have a wedge back and it restored my grin, even though she has less neddies.

Just thought I would mention it....

But the plan is to put 450Bhp into the Chim via a tuned Ls1, this should pep it up a bit!!

I think i've decided to 4.0 the wedge to sell it, the engine is a very fit 38K motor with history and means i can ask more reasonable (less) money for it. Hope to do it in the next couple of weeks, it will make a solid purchase for someone as the, chassis brakes, clutch, master CYLINDERS, veneer etc have all been overhauled. Its just that i want something to fit that 5.7 Chevy into, and i'm not cutting the Wedge up to do it!

Brummiewedge,

I had a guy who was after purchasing my wedge ask if I could forward any contacts, thqat have wedge`s for sale (no whites, yellows or lime greens, his direction, not mine), do u want me to forward mail to your good self, or just point him in your direction. He is really keen, only another purchaser pipped him to the post for my beastie.
