all goes quiet

when i drive the car and come to a stop (idle) the heater stops and my lights go very dull for about 3-4 seconds then everything goes back to normal has anyone else experienced this and can it be cured.

Check fan belt.

Does it happen when you have the air con on?

If so, it was a known issue that could be dialed out by the factory. Mine used to stall.

I see a flicker when the fans cut in sometimes but not 3-4 secs worth and not every time I stop.

yes when the air con is on its more noticeable and you can hear the fan going off then on really weird and what do you mean by dialed out sorry to be a pain gotta get it sorted

You can put a temporary fix on it by winding the throttle stop open a bit.
It'll probably be a plug in and fiddle with the laptop job mate

I am with Obes on that one, I just never bothered as mine went a few weeks before service.
