The films, top down you see long hair streaming out behind the car.
Real life, top down face full of hair can't see where you going.
I will add that this is my wife as I have very little hair.
What is the best cure for this apart from chopping off her hair, we tried a baseball cap but it kept comming off.
Please help or she will whinge every time I take the hood off.
Thanks.

The wife keeps one of those little elastic things for making a "pony tail" and an "Alice Band" in the car. She pops 'em both on before setting off and has a hairbrush in her handbag for after the journey.

I advise keeping spares of all three items in the car on a continual basis - in case one is forgotten and complaints about roof off motoring issued. Enjoy.

We have the same + a peaked cap if it's chilly. The only thing the missus complains about now is the noise

I had this problem. I always tied my hair back into a ponytail when I was in the Griff, and I kept a hairbrush for post-journey untangling. I also used to wear a baseball cap - it never used to come off, unless I was going over about 70. Which of course I never did. But if I had, I'd have taken it off for that part of the trip and put it back on again later.

As regards baseball caps, maybe you could experiment with different shapes of peak? I used to wear the same one that I used when I was working with the horses, and I never had any problems with it.

For a mo, I thought you were a Griff owner who had lost his way and inadvertently found himself in the Chimaera forum!

A baseball cap fits the bill. (It doesn't work in a Caterham though - the wind rips off sunglasses, cap, any hair accessories...the lot....)

The wife generally puts her hair into a pony-tail and then passes that through the cut-out adjusty thing in the back of her baseball cap so that if it were to blow off, the hair would stop the cap from blowing away. It's also more comfortable too, apparantly.

Otherwise a beanie hat or, if you're kinky, a leather flying helmet.
