3200GT

The passenger side window gets stuck intermittently. Can anybody suggest what is required? i.e motor. It will go up eventually, but may go up 1-5mm at a time over a period of hours! Not sure what else it could be?

The 3200 shares a fair few parts with the 456GT and I know that the window motors in the 456 are mentioned as being a weak spot. Perhaps they're the same part prone to the same failure? Just guessing though.

Having said that not heard of anyone else in the 3200 having window motor issues, and the only part I know for certain the 3200 shared with the 456 is the auto gearbox, so this is all guessing as I said.

Could also be the same motor as on the Alfa GTV. Dunno for sure, but the GTV has the same manual/auto mechanism split between passenger and driver side for opening and closing (if you know what I mean) ... and the two vehicles certainly share a few other bits.

Check the motor is mounted tightly, they only have to be a little loose to put the window slightly out of line, then they tend to do exactly what you describe.
