I think it's TVR's own.

Mine has 'TVR' cast into it.i know that still doesnt mean it isn't the 'same as' but i'm sure others have posted on here before that its TVR only.
Why dont you get one from Bell Hill breakers?

Are you looking to sell the old donk. I could do with some spares for my 4.0L

Bell Hill Breakers?? Can anyone give me the no? Please. The 4.0 is going back into the Wedge so that can move on. At the end of the year the 4.6 will come out for the 5.7 Chevy. Anyone wanting decent Rover power could do worse.

To be honest i think your right there.I have pas on my latest griff, but preferred it without on my previous one,and the chim before that.its just not worth that kind of money imho.

Hells bells, David Gerald will upgrade for £1500 including fitting IIRC.
BTW my 24K Chim has had two rebuilds so I wouldn't be going the second hand route, if it was me.

Oops... I drove a mates Sag at the weekend, with PAS and liked it so was thinking perhaps I'd convert mine... perhaps not!

Get it reconditioned, easy enough to get out, just a little tight to slide through the chassis. I had my old one redone for £130.

Hi there,

From the info i was given from a TVR specialist it is definitely a TVR own part hence i guess why there are less of them around and there is quite a high price.

For what its worth, mine is a Non-PAS Chim and, apart from reversing out of my driveway, i dont miss PAS at all. I think you get great feedback from the Non-PAS rack and it adds to the driving experience.

Mine has PAS, but my old Griffith didn't, there are advantages to both, but i certainly don't think it would pay to spend £1,500 on the upgrade. Cars with PAS just don't demand that kind of premium at re-sale, so you would be better off changing cars....., or if they did demand that kind of premium, does anybody want to buy my Chimaera!
