Help washed and polished the chim yesterday and noticed a small hole in the fuel pipe...P****** petrol out decided to change pipe. There the story gets interesting the pipe goes from on top of the engine and dissappears down the back of the engine by the bulkhead. Question is how the hell do you get to the pipe to replace??? I took the short cut and changed the routing of the pipe that gave me enough spare to cut out offending section and re-connect. However I don't want to leave like this so would wellcome advice on how to change.

Many Thanks look forward to roof down weather!!!!!

I had this on mine, with the rubber hose from the fuel rail to the copper splitting right on the top of the bell housing. I took the view that it was totally impossible to get at, so i replaced the whole length from the rail to the tank (i put on a new filter as well) in new rubber and zip-tied it to the upper chassis rails within the tunnel. The routing of the copper down between the body and the lower chassis was causing rubbing on the pipework so my view was that to have a single run of un-jointer hose (ensure you get the correct grade and bore) placed higher up in the chassis would avoid any future failure.
