Does anyone here know what is the correct coolant for the C5? The book says GM DexCool. Ive asked at Vauxhall and they have no listing, just their own GM 5yr Orange silica free stuff. sounds identical, but does anyone know better?
Also, i'm recharging the A/C system, and the book calls for a/c oil #12345934. Is this the same as ISO 150 (PAG3) Would rather use the right stuff !!
Thanks for any help.

Some C4's have had trouble with that orange stuff in the past, heres a thread that might be useful but bear in mind they are talking about C4's and ime not sure about coolant for C5's.

Bauer Millett in Manchester sell Dexcool and GM insist on it. The LS1 is an all-alloy engine and so is different from the old iron block stuff.

Are Northants Tyres still there? Last time I went passed, it looked a bit derelict.

They have moved to Aldershot (next to Focus DIY store) about 2 months ago......they had 3 sites in Fleet which was a p.i.t.a. regarding stock location so everything is now under one roof in Aldershot.
