I noticed that my GT3 has option code 09991 (manufacture from the exclusive-programme): what might be different about it, or were all GT3s made in this way?

I don't have any issues with it, just curious.

basically Porsche will make you GT3 in pink paint with yellow rubber seats if you want

your car will be finished as part of the exclusive programme and you wil be charged accordingly

(or probably more common you may want your A and B pillars finished in matching leather)

That was my understanding, but my car is a standard (if rare) colour with what appears to be a standard interior. I guess as you suggest I may have some optional bits of interior trim or similar.

it can be hard to tell (often an OPC can't tell as it doesn't itemise exactly what was done on their order system)

eg in an OPC once the sales guy and I donned our respective anoraks and finally sussed out the 996TT I was looking at didn't have "large leather pack" option but had the interior panel where dash meets windscreen finished in leather not plastic.

I checked my codes too (anoraks the lot of us) mine has the 09991 code, the only thing I noticed was it has code 09981 before it. I'm guessing (and it is only a guess) that it's the option code for the leather bucket seats. IIRC they appeared on the option list for my 993 RS in the same format.
It does not appear as a recognised code on this website, but most of the others do, ie aircon, UK spec, chrome tailpipe trims, trip computer etc

I have a '981' option code (not the 09981 code you mention) which decodes to "all leather lining".

Whilst we're on the subject, any idea what code 695 is? I think it must be a specific radio/CD player combo.

All leather lining, could that be leather dash ? I couldn't find 695 either
I'm waiting for a mate to come back to me on the other codes...........I'll keep you posted.
