I'm 48 with two lots of full no-claims for goodness sake.
I cant be bothered to start trawling so is there any broker that is an obvious choice.

£680 with Direct Line, but doesnt include track day cover or more than a few days abroad (which reminds me I need to tell them about Le Mans) Considering going with another company just that includes track day cover rather than take out specialist cover at £140 a time. Then again, Ive only done 1 track day in the last 5 years (2 years with the cerb)

Was with Tescos, then Sainsbury's beat them. Give them both a try - should be well under £700

Sainsburys only quote if you have a no claims bonus regardless of claims etc.....
I pretended to have 5 yrs (for the purposes of a quote) and got a £690 quote. Not that cheap for me. I am in a low risk area, no points, I am only just still in my 30s, 1 claim..... so had hoped for a lower prem.

Just asked them to quote. Do you know if their policy includes track day cover? (Im guessing not at those prices)

No afraid not, but it is based on using the car for commuting with no mileage restrictions.

Also, their first quote was £700 but reduced it after consulting with the underwriters.

Aahh, Lydney! I've not long moved from Lydney after living there for 20 odd years, just down the road to Chepstow.

I'm paying just under £600 and I'm 32 (no track day cover).

You might be the closest cerb to me that I know of, if you were to move to Lydney.

OK, three phone calls this morning;

Direct Line (current insurers) £680 (£450 xs, no Eurocover (chargeable if you want it) and no track days).
A Plan £530 (£500 xs, no track days, 30 days European Cover)
Mannings £585 (£500 xs, 45 days European cover, TVRCC and 'recognised' other TD organisers Track Day cover (xs incr to £1250)

Will try a few more but Im heading towards Mannings come July. Bloody shame I have to pay DL for the Euro cover in June for LM

Just about to renew at £860 p.a. with Mannings - late 40s with full n.c.b. but in SW15 (higher risk?) but garaged and with tracker. Euro cover included and now also non TVRCC track days providing the organisers are members of either of the two principle track day organisations/federations (whose names I don't have to hand). £750 excess. 5000 miles p.a.
