Ferrari Airfield Day - 28 July - all welcome
Discussion
£30 per car. High speed corner and large slalom area. At North Weald Airfield in Essex.
ONLY 24 spaces in total, first come first served. More than half the spaces are already booked, so a few are left.
If you want to book a space, registering on this thread will NOT count, although feel free to post here if you wish. You must email me for a registration form, and then return it to me with your cheque. At that point you will be booked.
Email me at jas dot hayre at standardbank dot com and put the words "Ferrari airfield day" in the title. You'll get an email back with the form.
(If you use hotmail or similar, first add my email address to your safe list as otherwise the form will end up in your junk mail folder.)
Given the date, it'll likely be dry and sunny. Any type of car is welcome, no noise limits. No helmets required. The day should be very safe due to lots of run off, and only one car at a time on track.
So far the cars attending are mostly Ferraris, with a few Lotus' and others. I'd like to get some interesting and different cars too, so if I get more requests than I have places, I'll allocate based on type of car.
No spectator cars, passengers welcome though.

Hi there - I'd love to come along & take some snaps of the day.
Is there anyone going who has a vacant passenger seat?
We can meet up locally & I'll jump in to get through the spectator veto at the gate?
Is that possible Jas?
Thanks in advance,
Chris
Hi Chris,
Sorry, due to the airfield's rules, spectators are not permitted. However, pasengers are

How about members of a flying club based at North Weald? My brother flies a Jet Provost out of there.. had I seen this before the places were all taken, he/we would've taken a place or 2, I'm sure!
