I know nothing so a little advice is appreciated, but why do the 964 turbos seem so atractivly cheap?
For example - www.pistonheads.com/sales/71039.htm

It seems they go for approx the same money as n/a C2's and C4's.

Why so?

Potential running costs is probably a reasonable guess

I would hedge my bets that almost any C2/C4 at that money will not sell.

also - unless you have the full docs from the continent - a late import (such as that one) is more likely to have been clocked/written off in the mother country and then imported to the uk.

not saying that one is a wrong 'un by default - but you do need extra dilligence with left hookers.....

I went to see the car in question and stuck with my C2. Believe it or not the C2 is much quicker !!

Unless there was something wrong... A standard C2 is NOT quicker than a Turbo2!

It may be off the line, but the turbo will make ground like you would not believe. 0-60 in around 4.5 seconds!! Not bad for a 12-15 year old car!!
