Hi all,

just sold the V8S to a rather nice chap from Stafford. I'm pleased it's gone to a good home. I've recommended this forum as the source of all S Series related knowledge.

I've really enjoyed owning the car and have had some of the best motoring moments of my life in it.

I may not have been the most prolific of posters on here but I have learned one hell of lot from this forum over the 3 years of S ownership. So thanks very much everyone. My only regret is not being able to attend SCH last summer. Oh well.

The empty space in my drive will, I'm pleased to say, be filled by my Cerbera. I bought the car privately 3 weeks ago and, until now, it's been living outside my parents house. Roll on the weekend!

Enjoy the Summer!

Sorry to hear the P&J has gone, but you've replaced it in the proper way

How are you finding the change in exhaust note? I must admit the noise is one thing that makes me think twice about Cerbera ownership.

Hi Graham

yes, the Cerb seems to have a rather large pair of cans on the back - the noise is certainly louder. A different set of hairs stand up on the back of my neck when I give it some! http://community.webshots.com/album/5

Drove the S for the last time at lunchtime - it was as pleasant as ever - what a great car!

Do you ever get to Gurston Down? Maybe we can meet up there sometime?

It's all of 10mins away from where I live but I never even knew it was there! Sadly can't do this weekend as I'm taking the Cerb over to the IOW, but would be good to have a look later on perhaps.

Cheers Keith - nice to hear from someone who's trodden a very similar TVR ownership path to me!

Thanks Steve - I took the S over a couple of times last year from Lymington and all was fine. Hoping the Cerb will be also!
